Folding door is a kind of door that can be folded on one side or both sides of the entrance when the door opens. As the folding door has a small swing radius, when the door opens, the space on both sides of the entrance can be fully utilized.
Every folding door connects two or three mesh panels with hinges and all doors can be flexibly opened and closed. As the way of door opening and closing is much similar to the concertina, therefore, it is also known as concertina door.
Weld-mesh panel or crimp-mesh panel may be selected as swing door panels.
Folding doors are divided into single folding doors and double folding doors. As single folding door is available with a maximum width of 3000 mm and double folding door is available with a maximum width of 4000 mm, therefore, both doors are suitable for machine guarding systems that require a large entrance and exit.
